JT's Mission

To ensure that every student in Manatee County has access to a quality and inspiring education that prepares them for success in life, I am committed to education reform that fosters safe and supportive schools. I will empower teachers and staff within Manatee County schools with the resources they need to thrive while strengthening partnerships between families, schools, and the community. 


If elected as a member of the school board in the upcoming school board election, I will advocate for transparency, fiscal responsibility, and data-driven decisions that put students first. Together, we can build a school system that values every child and equips the next generation with the skills, creativity, and confidence to shape a better future.

Instead, I will push to reinvest those funds into hiring the best reading coaches—REAL PEOPLE—who work alongside students and teachers to help our kids master the fundamentals.

In Manatee County, we have unfortunately lost some of the best educators due to various factors, such as better teaching offers elsewhere, a lack of support from leadership, or the decision to pursue different career paths because teaching wasn't financially sustainable. As we approach the school board election, I will advocate for those 

In Manatee County, we have unfortunately lost some of the best educators due to various factors, such as better teaching offers elsewhere, a lack of support from leadership, or the decision to pursue different career paths because teaching wasn't financially sustainable. As we approach the school board election, I will advocate for those overlooked and underpaid educators by pushing for education reform that includes incentive-based bonuses linked to student growth and proficiency. Teachers in Manatee County schools are invaluable, and we should treat them as such.

With the rapid advancement in technology, some believe, "robots will replace people." If that is the case, the time is now to heavily invest in educating our children about the lucrative paths of trade jobs. By focusing on this specialized knowledge, our children in Manatee County will understand the value of hands-on skills and will be better equipped to navigate the labyrinth of life. As a candidate in the Manatee County school board election, I will fight to bring these programs back into our schools. Our children MUST be prepared to tackle the real world immediately after high school.
